On the news today, we learn that Banksy has gifted a Mural to a school in Bristol.
I knew there was some quite colourful graffiti on the wall under a canal bridge nearby, so I stopped off to take a few pictures.
Colourful? Yes. Artistic? The jury is out.
The picnic site, and easy access to the canal is just off the road between South Wigston and Countesthorpe. It’s easy to access via the Crow Mills Picnic site.
This is a popular running route and the paths around here can get very boggy in wet weather.
The site has obviously gained some upkeep / maintenance via the Community Payback scheme. I wonder if they’ll leave the graffiti?
